    Surgical Gloves

Even notice how surgical type gloves always seem to be pictured with a fork poking a gloved hand?

When did that become the testing standard? Does anyone ever use those gloves in conjunction with forks? If you did poke your hand with a fork, would those gloves actually offer any protection, except perhaps from secondary infection? I would be much more impressed if they poked the gloved hand with say, a scalpel...

This glove is scalpel resistant, but not chemically resistant.
