Proud father of Two Eagle Scouts
Though I wasn't a Scout as a youngster, got heavily involved when the boys became Tigers. Made quite a few adult friends, even a few young men that have grown up to be fine adults. Our 1st Den Leader was a really outstanding guy that was a former Scout himself which made it fun. We (the whole family) would go on unofficial Scouting campouts in the summer and got to learn quite a few new things. Best times we all remember were the campouts at Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan, cookouts, the beach, the campfires, sure miss those days. Funny how now that they are older they appreciate those things and the feeling of achievement from attaining Eagle Rank.
