    Beautiful stuff. Reminds me of what George Nakashima did in terms of trying to get to the spirit of the wood with each piece.

    I wonder if he wears body armor when he turns...

      It looks like a battle of direction of rotation. The log is spinning towards him, the chain saw is spinning away. Think I'd keep my face outta da way.

        Man, I wonder if I could find out where he gets his material from. He's right in my neighborhood! Sure, I don't have the lathe he does, but I wouldn't mind getting a few of his "scraps".
