Parrot On The Docket

To make a long story short, a Florida courtroom was the scene of a custody battle over a parrot. It flew out of it's owners home, and was found by another woman. As THIS STORY details, they both wanted custody.

The judged ruled that pets are chattel, like automobiles, and will be returned to the owner. Throughout the trial, the parrot offered no testimony.

Since I have one of those feathered trolls that has literally been around me for my whole lifetime, I would be inclined to side with the original care taker.
