    Great Dancing...Cagney and Hope

I did not know that Bob Hope was such a dancer. He could keep up with Cagney.
On the other hand, Mitzi Gaynor had a great body.

Do not expect to look for Mitzi in the above.

Excellent! I didn't know Bob was that good either. There are a lot of people from Hollywood that are multi-talented. You just don't know it.

Do you know about kickback? Ray has a good writeup here... https://www.sawdustzone.org/articles...mare-explained

Both Hope and Cagney came up through the vaudeville circuit — an environment where you had to be multi-talented just to survive.

Pity most of today's "entertainers" haven't followed in the same "footsteps."

As best I recall, he started out as a 'hoofer', then went into comedy. Not sure how old he was when he came here, but I believe he is from England originally.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Hope was born in the town of Eltham which sits on the edge(sort of) of London England. I used to take the train from there to London often when I stayed at my Nan's house in Sidcup.

I was just informed that Bob Hope was also a prize fighter at one time.

Pretty fancy footwork from some great entertainers.

I read somewhere that the dancing is his own, but he used a "nose double" for the close-ups.
