    The adoption thread

You might remember the thread I posted in February. Emma was born on Feb. 15, and immediately went to my daughter and her husband. The adoption was not final until yesterday because of Indiana laws, which protect both the adopting parents and the birth parents. So yesterday was the day Paige legally became the "Big sister".
