Thanks Bill. After 59 of them, I don't know whether I want to stop having them, or hurry up and get 66 out of the way so I can retire. Of course with the current economy, I probably won't ever be able to retire.

Thanks Bill. You know there used to be a lot of us, but I haven't heard of a baby being named Bill in a long time. Maybe I am not only getting older, I am getting extinct?

No, not at all. My son is named William but we just call him Liam. Some folks are baffled on how to get from William to Liam, just cover the first 3 letters and there you have it. We nick named him Liam to avoid mass confusion when someone says "Hey Bill" since my dads name is William also.
So rest assured I have personally contributed to "The Billy Club of America" with my first born. We will live on...

"Why are there Braille codes on drive-up ATM machines?"
My Grampa was William Henry, my Dad is William Wayne, and I am William Wayne Jr. I had no boys, and neither did any of my male cousins, so not only is Bill extinct on my side, but the Meyer name too, although my oldest daughter gave her first son the middle name of Meyer. I am glad you kept the Bill name going even though it is Liam. By the way, I like Liam, that is pretty cool.

My wife did some google'n and she said that Myers/Meyer etc means Mayor? Myers would have "Son of the Mayor" ? Depends of if you are German or not. No Jr's here thought. My dad is William Robert, I'm William Peter and my son is William Bernard.
My dad was pissed when I started calling him Grandpa Billy Bob!!

My ancestry is Swiss, but it was the German speaking part of Switzerland. My dad has an old family bible in German. Mayor huh? I guess I should run for mayor of Weir City? Nah!
