This is one big project... it's about 60 feet long, and made of wood, aluminum and polyester. Pretty darn impressive...

That is one impressive sculpture. If I ever get to the Netherlands I'll have to see it.
We had a whale wash up on the beach a few years ago, it wasn't that big but it sure stunk. took some pictures of it but they were very depressing.
For a different take on whale on the beach checkout the Exploding Whale Video. In 1970 a whale washed up on the beach in Florence OR, about 3 hours north of me.
