    Anyone heard from JimD?

It's been about 2 1/2 months ago when Jim lost his wife to a stroke. I've been wondering how he's doing.

I'm here. Jan went to heaven on 12/25 and was declared dead on 12/27 so it has been more than a month but not two yet. Thanks for asking.

I and our two kids are doing OK. It's a huge adjustment but we are making it. I put the finish on my first "after Jan" woodworking project, the third in a set of 4 chairs for our son today. I get less time in the shop because I am doing a lot of little things Jan used to do but that is the smaller adjustment.

You were just on my mind as well, Jim. Keep the faith and await the reward which is yours - to be with her forever.
        Blessings,

          Hi Jim,

Glad to hear you're making it OK. God knows it's hard. Time passing will make it a little easier to handle. Know that you and the kids are still in our prayers.

Good to see you are doing OK. Life is about compromise and adjustment and you seem to be moving down that path as well as can be expected. Good luck with the kids...

              Regards...
