    Wife Abducted by Aliens

My wife of 35 plus years asked me last summer to paint the living room. I told her "sure, get the paint". I just knew she would come home with off white for the walls and bright white for the trim. Those are the American colors!! Always have been!!
I thought it strange when she shows up with 2 different colors for the same area. As the pics show, the walls facing East and West are what I call Pumpkin. The walls facing North and South are a shade of Blue.
I started wondering what happened to the wife I originally married.

Then last week she asked me to paint 2 spare bedrooms upstairs. Again I told her to get the paint. This time she comes back with an Ice Blue for one room and Thistle (looks like lavendar to me) for the other room. Now I know for sure that my wife has been abducted and this one put in her place. MY wife would never pick THOSE colors.

However, I won't say anything, as she has something that I really want and need. No, not THAT. I don't cook and I like to eat. So, I need her cooking abilities. And she does that very well.

I was just wondering if anyone else has a different "version", of the one they originally married?
Looks like the pics will not upload. Oh well....

The colors seem to work very well. I especially like how the light blue walls coordinate with the big fish on the wall.

I think it's that their eyesight changes as they get older. They perceive colors differently.

At least that is the only way I can explain the existence of blue hair dye.

Could be, but I bet those walls are oozing tons of Qi.

Oh My, she went to the eye doctor yesterday. When she gets her new eyeglasses, I may have to do it all over again.

I was told it is a nesting instinct.

They start decorating and it continues until they have tried all of the possible color combinations.

Just put your foot down when she begins to give decorating hints for your shop!

That is what you call a new and improved wife. Many a man could only dream of . . . that kind of abduction!

The kitchen belongs to her. The shop is mine.
I am surprised no one noticed that I hung the picture upside down in the upper bedroom. I did not realize it until I looked at the pic that I took. I even took my wife up there to inspect, etc.. Took her about 2 minutes to see it. And of course, she made me fix it.
