Yet another scam

We just received a phone call from a guy asking to speak to Carl. My wife's name is Carole, and I knew it was for her. I told him she couldn't come to the phone, but I'd take his number so she could call him back. He gave me the number. She called, and told him she was Kate Smith, calling for Carl. As luck would have it, Kate Smith was the second name on the 2.5 million they won from the international lottery!! I reported the phone number to our phone company.
