    Paging Black Waltnut

    Mark,

    Help!!!

I've been thinking of an overhaul to my Car 15, just got the latest M-16 catalog from Brownell's, is it me, or just inflation. I can't believe the prices they charge, totally outrageous.

Do you know any on-line dealers who are cheaper. Since I cancelled my subscription to "Shotgun News" quite a while ago, I'm in the dark for "good suppliers".

Also, not having an FFl, makes some items not readly obtainable.

    Bruce,

    Check out this site.

There's a buncha stuff there, and a forum. There's gotta be someone there that has exactly what you are looking for. The answer might already be there, if you lurk around (not the kind of lurking you do after dark ).

Sorry Bruce but somehow I missed seeing this last Friday! Thinks have been tough at work lately and instead of browsing the forums I've had to keep hitting reload page on a website for work.

Anyway, I've been told more than once that Brownells almost always has the highest prices and most serious smiths simply do not shop there due to that. Brownells is good in that they have the parts, no matter what the part is. I don't own a mouse gun so have never really paid attention to parts sources for them so can't really lead ya down the right path. The site C-man pointed you too is a place to be for that game though. All items shooting related have risen in price dramatically in the last few years. Have you looked at new guns lately; long guns are approaching beyond the reach of many in price, I'm one of the many! Reloading components are once again spiking and becomming real fast stock turnover for retailers. Talk about an economic stimilus.............. That reminds me that I really need to spend some serious time filling my ammo boxes with reloads, at least until I run out of primers. I could go on but this ain't the forum for those types of postings....
