A North of the Border solution.....

In my never ending quest that no one should be forced to stay home just because of some snow, I present to you, the North of the Border solution to the snow in the drive problem.

Tim the Tool Man would be proud...

Nice, but I think I'll stick with the local plow guy.

You laugh at our snow removal equipment but we need the power. Today I saw a farmer snow blowing his field. Yeah, it gets that bad up here!

That is awesome! I wonder how fast it would clear the 3" or so inches of snow we got last week?

"Early models of the snowblower used rubber tires, but Grundt decided to switch to tracks instead because the wheels couldn't bear the weight or the cold."

Shhhh, don't tell my cars or ATVs, they'll get all defensive about their tires...

The ability to throw snow a long distance is great, so long as you're not trying to use the chute to aim it for distance. Snow and driveway crud is abrasive and chunks will dent or hole house siding, windows, automobile sheet metal, etc. It sounds like he has a throttle for the auger so I'd guess not a problem for him.
