    Pretty much all you need...

Now if I could just get this thing fitted with a lumber/pipe rack, then I wouldn't give a crap how far I had to go to get a good deal...

Oh, and the $194K price tag??? chicken feed...

Just tell the government you want to start a new fad. You should have the money tomorrow morning.

I want one!! When I fly to work I could land it on the road running through campus. When I fly home I could land it on the road in front of my house.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

Wonder if they will allow cell phone conversations if you're flying?

It's a neat idea. I use my airplane to fly to Lake Tahoe frequently and save about an hour and a half each way, door-to-door, on what's a four+ hour drive under the best of conditions.

However. I can't fly in really bad weather (like today), airplanes are maintenance hogs (annual inspection coming up, several $k), I can't put 8' rough lumber or even half sheets of plywood in it and it wouldn't make sense if the nearest runway was more than 30 minutes from home.

Still, it is very satisfying to fly over traffic jams instead of having to sit in them .
