    Colonoscopy over; Whew!

    Spent three days in Tokyo and had the dreaded colonoscopy done. Four years ago, I had 3 polyps and they were removed;
    last year in January, I had 18 polyps with 3 or 4 that were 20 - 25mm (1 inch) size, all removed;
    Yesterday, 3 small ones less than 1/4 inch, all removed.

    Makes me feel better. After last year, I didn't know what those things were up to.

    Back home tonight in Toyota City. Feels good to be back home. Tokyo is just too big!

      Good to see the reduced number which I know makes you feel better after the increase last year. You are not alone thinking about these type things. Just stay busy and try not to even though difficult to do really.

      Good luck in future prognosis....

                      Hank - Glad to hear things came out OK , so to speak. Did the Doc's say anything about your diet with the polyp problem?

                        How long did they make you wait? (last drink until)

                        My father is real weak, and they won't allow him to have any ice chips, yet they keep delaying the test. Four plus weeks, and now they are second guessing their diagnosis, and talking of transfering hospitals.
                        She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

                          This is one time when we don't need the pictures. We believe you. ( Famous words from my posting)

                          Glad to hear that everything is good. Just having gone through my first one, I can relate.

                            From 8 AM last drink to 3PM for the tests but they did say I could have other clear liquids (7 Up/Sprite type of drinks) and I did about mid morning.

                            For my doctor over here, I only drink 2 liters just over a half a gallon. While it is bad it doesn't seem as concentrated (soapy/oily) as that in the US.

                            I didn't realize how much subconsciously - I was anxious for the results.
