Somehow showing up at work looking like Captain America would probably get me talked about, (Captain Chaos, maybe... ) Cool way to go flying, though.

This would be awesome, but the first jet-pack commuter who wipes out while
talking on a cell phone will ruin it for the rest of us.

Can you imagine if flying cars "took off" like all those people back in the day predicted? What a nightmare!

I think I read about this in Pop. Sci. in 1949 if I remember...

I came across a stack of old Pop Sci and Pop Mech mags in an antique store last weekend. Fascinating to see what was "cutting edge" back then.

A better remedy would be to just do like I did. Retire!

Why would you want to solve the snow and commute problem? Then you'd actually have to go to work.

Well David I'll tell ya. Grew up in Northern Minnesota and never got a day off from school because of snow. Collage in Southern Minnesota and again, not a day off for snow. Worked in Minneapolis and never got a day off from work for snow. Spent 25+ years in Connecticut and except when working for myself I again never got a day off work for snow. Now that I live where snow is a rarity I feel it's my duty to make sure that no one gets a day off for snow

The rain is do back tomorrow, it's cloudy and cooling off and already I'm feeling like my usual illiterate curmudgeon self. At least I got all the long boards ripped before I had to keep the garage door closed.

Captain Chaos? Funny you should mention him, since he arrived in the back of an ambulance.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
