    A Moment Of Zen

I decided to build my subpanel door using only hand tools (except for screwing the panel on). This meant attaching moulding to the door frame for a profile rather than routing one. I intentionally left it a bit oversize so it stood proud of the outside edge of the frame about 1/16". I knew the moulding would never match up with the frame edge perfectly so left some extra to flush it up. Last night I broke out the 7" plane and went to work. A few pleasant moments later I had a pile of curly strips on the floor and one side perfectly flush. I even swept up the pile before I started the next side so I wouldn't be tracking the mess around.
