    What's wrong with this picture?

Sorry -- I couldn't resist this. The picture just came up on my little desktop slide show widget and I get a real kick out of it every time I see it, so I just had to share it.

It's a picture of my son on a playground zipline about 3.5 years ago. We included it with no comments in the middle of a bunch of "normal" pictures in a shared online photo album. We had a lot of friends calling up and saying, "what the... ?!?" (The GIMP rocks!)

It's pretty easy to spot. Especially in the daylight.

My first guess was that he is a micro-mini-midget with one heckuva grip.

Out of curiosity, how many people were photoshopped (OK Gimped) out of the original photo?

Alex, to make it believeable you could edit a shadow back in. That would REALLY get people talking.

Close, but the shadow should be smaller. It looks like the sun is about directly overhead in comparison to the shadows cast by the bench to the left.

I was holding him up there, so just me.

Not many people spot the shadow problem. I think our shadows were combined in the original photo, so I just took a shortcut and left the whole thing out. Not a lot of time to burn with a kid in the house

If you've done any amount of image editing, you'll likely notice the missing shadow. But a lot (most?) of people would never notice it.
