Well This Sucks

I got a little over half an hour of footage over Christmas this year. When we got home I dumped it to video tape from the camera. It was ok while I was doing that. Tonight I started the video capture on the PC and walked away, didn't really watch it. I started doing some editing and it is all unusable. The audio is all screwed up and there are static lines across the video. I went back and watched the video tape and it is screwed up too. It has always worked before, not sure what the problem is now. I sold the camera this past weekend and already erased the tape, so can't get the original video back.

Oh well. I have another 20 minutes or so from the new camera that records to DVD.

I hate it when that happens David. I've been getting similar problems lately when I encode to a web version. Normal full sized vid looks fine but I get purple lines when I encode.

This one had some prime keep-it-till-their-wedding-then-embarrass-them-with-it footage too. I got one sequence where my littlest discovered the top half to Mommy's unmentionables and was wearing it? them? on her head.

Hah...it'll be a while before I'm inducted into Pampers for Parents.
