    Any Sports Car Buffs?

Since I'm a car guy, a friend of mine emails this picture and asked me what make of car and year it is. It looks familiar, but I just don't know. So, I'm asking here if anyone can identify it?

I am afraid I can't narrow down the year, but I believe this is like this:

    C type Jag.

Edit: Just read something that said they were made from 51 to 53. I thought they were made 7 years. Some cars are just out of my budget, sorry.

Complete guess here, but I would say a 1950's JAGUAR or other British racing car -- steering wheel is on left side (I think).

Sure is a sweet car, what ever it is ...

C and D types are fairly easy to pick out, not nearly as common as the E type though. couldn't tell you a definite year though
