    Feliz Mommy-Dad

My boy was delighted to learn a Christmas song about his parents from his Spanish-speaking friends. So he's been running around singing it a lot lately -- "Feliz Mommy-Dad... Feliz Mommy-Dad..." (to the tune of Feliz Navidad, obviously )

    Fatherhood is truly a blessing.

That's great Alex! My oldest asked the other day whata 'neek' was. I asked where she heard that word. She said Mommy said it. I asked what did Mommy say. She said Mommy told her that she (my daughter) was you-neek. so she wanted to know what a neek was.

Today my wife who is homeschooling the kids was going over the seasons. She spoke about the winter solstice. Later when I came home I asked what they did in school today and the 3 year old said her brother learned about the winter sausage. Reminded me of when my oldest thought it was the Lizard of Oz...
