Some excellent resources on woods, veneers, and more

I just stumbled across this resource at Purdue University's Forestry & Natural Resources department. It had some pretty detailed 3-5 page PDFs, rich with photos, on 26 different species. I particularly like the side-by-side photos/comparisons at the end.

Also scroll up to the "Furniture Manufacturing" section for info about adhesives, joint design, shrink/swell, chair testing and more. Also scroll up for lumber grading, storage, moisture content, etc.
