What I did today besides freezing

Saw UW Badgers beat Cal Poly 36-35 in overtime.

That's me (the old guy) plus my son, a freshman at UW.

It was around freezing, overcast, and a bit windy. I tried to dress warm, but by the 3rd quarter I couldn't feel my feet, by the 4th my hands were painfully cold. Thank God it only lasted through 1 OT.

Sounds like it was a good game. I'm a senior at Cal Poly. It was nice and warm at their campus today!

Now, that's **real** football weather! I was in the band in high school and college in eastern PA and the weather, back then at least, got down into the twenties by the end of the season. Yep, that's the real deal - thermoses of coffee and hot chocolate being passed around, stomping your feet for noise and circulation. Of course, I was little younger back in the late '60's to early seventies ;-)

You both look a little blue in the picture...

Too bad Wiskey has not given fans a whole lot to cheer about this year... Pretty down year for the whole Big-10.
