    Wall street people!

    I guess I just don't know the type.
    Was watching the news today and they are showing a group of people gathered around someone who is about to strike the gavel to close the market for the day.
    All of a sudden I see them all smiling and applauding.
    What the heck are they smiling about?
    It dropped another 400+ points for crying out loud.
    And applauding! For what? A shi^^y job done?
    They look like a bunch of arrogant fools to me!
    Why doesn't the word 'planing' show up in my computer spell check?

      They are a bunch of frightened fools... They have to try to look encouraging, lest everybody stampede for the door...

      Actually, I think the bell-ringing or gavel-banging is usually meted out to some visiting VIP...
