If so, how can I find files saved by Evernote on my computer (Windows XP)? What would the file extension be? I just found the program, and I'm trying it out.
"Developers who wish to import or export data from/to Evernote may also wish to investigate the note export file format supported in both Windows and Mac desktop clients. This is a well-structured XML document format that should be usable with simple file converters to add content into Evernote or export to another platform. This file format is documented within the Evernote Export DTD"
"However, at the end of the day, Evernote and OneNote are alike in a way that I've decided is probably a showstopper for me. They lock your notes up in a proprietary file format with no way to do a mass export to something more standardized."
"Note: a .enb file is an EverNote database file. This is the file Evernote uses to store one's notes database."
Thanks for the post, Ray. Let's say I make a notebook called "Table Saw Safety", and within that notebook I make a note called "Short Fence". Is there a way for me to find "Short Fence", or even "Table Saw Safety"? I don't think a normal search will turn it up, but I really don't know for certain. Guess I should try it.
