My wife and I dropped off our ballots at the closest Starbucks on October 29. Starbucks and Staples are the nearest ballot drops.

I'm hoping that maybe everybody around here voted early, and there will be nobody in line today...

Walked to the polling place 10 minutes before they opened. About 60 people
in line ahead of me. It took about an hour before I got back home. I think it
could have been faster, though. Only 2 people to check people in but 7 voting
machines. Only 2 people were voting at a time.

I couldn't vote in the poll because there was no option for "before 7 A.M.". I figure there are people who have to wait until the kids get off to school, and there are people who go to work early.

Truth is the best time to vote is when there is nobody in front of you. Either there is no line, or you are the first.

Voted this morning at 8:15 and there was no line at all. 60% of my precinct had voted early, so if the remaining 40% of registered voters all showed up, there still would be fewer voters today than for the primary -- plus there is more staff today.

              We were pleasantly surprised!

After watching all the reports of lines on the news this morning I wasn't looking forward to trying to vote before work.

I was pleasantly suprised when I drove by my polling place this morning at 8:10. The parking lot was very sparse. I think there were just as many workers there as there were voters. No wait at all.

Well - saved my money alright! Reached at 10.05, out by 10.30!!

Not only did I avoid the 'payoff', it's sooo sweet to hear - 'hmm, so you were right all along!'

And this time, I had applied pure logic : 15 early-voting centers vs more than 4000 regular polling places! Had to be better today than last week.

I was in at 6:00am and out by 6:07. Four booths in one room...very efficient!
