Your Dr. Pepper's on its way

    New GNR album:

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27106927/?GT1=43001

I personally don't really care that much, but I'm always intrigued by the antics of rock stars.

How anyone can make some decent music then go in a creative cave for a decade or 3 I'll never know (cf. Boston, The Knack, Sly Stone, etc.).

The opening to GnR's cover of Kockin' On Heaven's Door is my ringtone.

Dunno if I will buy the new album though.

One answer is that you have your whole life to write the songs for the first album. If it's successful you are pressured to do it again in a much shorter time.

IMHO if Axel is the only original member then it isn't worth listening to. I always felt he was along for the ride.

If it is a southern Dr. Pepper, I'm all in. But northerners don't know how to make Dr. Pepper. I've had 'em both, the difference is night and day.

Hmmm, Dr.Pepper with sugar (or Coca-Cola). I still wish we could get the good ol' 16 ounce returnable bottles of any of the soft drinks. Soft drinks in glass bottles always seem to taste better than those in the cans.

I've been told that kosher Coca-Cola has sugar, not HF corn syrup.

But I did some taste-testing and I don't think it is universally true.

I would guess the creative cave got expensive, and hibernation had to cease to make more money, in order to return to hibernation.

Look at the albums name! I am surprised it is out yet.

There has been a joke going around amongst my friends and I about that name. Axyl chose the name before he even started working on the album. After he worked on it for probably 5 years we started saying that by the time it was out he would have to pick a new name because China would be a democracy!
