    English is a funny language...

    ...particularly if you can't speak it...

    I have laughed myself goofy over this CL ad I just saw, advertising power trowels for concrete work...

    Have to put this one on the wall next to "mower velky" and "sawzaw"...

    I have heard those called several different things.
    I call them power finishers and come alongs.
    Helicopter trouts are pretty cool.

      I've heard them called power trowels, power floats (they are not a float) and helicopter trowels. Never heard of a 'trout'.
