If our current situation is so bad, why are the people who are supposed to fix it taking the day off for a holiday? It doesn't matter what holiday it is, if things are that bad, they need to be working!!
Couldn't agree with you more. It's a crisis until it interferes with their leisure time apparently, then it takes a back seat. Certainly, the Jewish people should take off if they feel strongly about it, but there's work to be done. At the very least they should be trying to read/understand what the he** is being done here, because right now, I don't think anybody except the foxes know. Scares the he** out of me.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.
If one of my tenents calls me on Thanksgiving or Christmas and tells me water is leaking in their apartment, I don't tell them that these days are a holiday and to wait until I get "back" and then I will fix the problem. Yes, I respect everybody's religious holidays, but if the problem is that severe, they should be there working on it.
