All the talk of TV shows recently makes me bring this one up. I just started watching it this season, and have some catching up to do. It apparently won quite a few Emmy's.
I've always been fascinated by advertising. But it is really more a show about 1960's life in a corporate world, with an emphasis on fashion and style, and a little bit of advertising mixed in.
I especially like the sets and the coloring. The artistic director has a keen (and I imagine expensive) eye.
All that said, I don't know if I like it yet. I think I wish they'd emphasise more 60's corporate drama over the tangential melodrama.
