Anybody going to the WW show?

Just saw this schedule. Might drop in for an afternoon (beats work!)

I went a couple of times in the past, when they came to Des Moines. The last one was rather small & didn't see tremendous turnout. I guess that's probably why they didn't come back this year.

Based on past experience, if they were back in Des Moines this year, I'd probably skip it. Probably the most disappointing things was the last one I went to, I attended a seminar sponsored by Delta. They had one of the worst PA systems I've ever heard setup. You couldn't really hear the guy when it was working, when it quit five minutes into the seminar it was pretty pointless. I was even sitting in the front row about 6 feet from the guy & couldn't hear him.

Pretty lean list of exhibitors for the Milwaukee show at least. The St. Paul show didn't look to have much either. Looks like most of the big name tool manufacturers are skipping the shows this year.

I plan on going to the one In Kansas City again this year. It is on Valentines day, and I would hate to rob my wife of such a romantic trip.

I spoke to one of the participants from past years an was told that none of the main tool reps would be at the Dallas/FortWorth show this year again. Mainly due to floor space being to expensive - $1400 for a 10x10 area.

Bob, did you go? Was it worthwhile or just the same same-o same-o.

Anyone going to this show in Nov? I went last year and it was OK, I got some good deals on stuff and went to a few of the classes which were mostly good.
