    painters poles parts question

Folks, what is the name of the plastic pieces of a paint pole that you twist to tighten down the collar around the smaller pole once you've adjusted it?

on a completely unrelated note, does anyone know what the little spring loaded button thing is called that some adjustable pole/table legs use?

I think the generic name is just a locking collar, or nylon collar lock. The spring loaded button thing as related to cabinetry is called a ball catch, or bullet catch.
