That's interesting, now I have to talk my neighbor into trying for other satellites. Wonder if his Direct TV magic decoder box will work on them.... his wife may never speak to me again!

The "organizer" of the event "Takeshi" has always been a favorite of ours. The last time we were stateside, we saw some old re-runs there on cable from RoadRunner/Comcast of "Takeshi's Castle" which was popular here when we came 20+ years ago.

In the last few years though, US shows have begun to be broadcast here and that takes our time more than Japanese programs. Star Trek Generations, DS 9, Voyager have been on for the past 7 or 8 years, but recently Closer, CSI, LV, Miami, NY, NCIS, Bones, Hero, and a few others have been showing up here .
