    Green Ephifany

While I regard global warming to be a natural solar system cycle Ala past Ice ages and current other planet warming, I recently discovered a cheaper energy free way of Ultra Safe Document Shredding.

My African Grey Parrot (recently adopted from a friend) loves to shred paper.
Sasha will gladly destroy anything presented to him of a paper nature.
Some of his favorites are paper towel and toilet paper holders.
Destruction beyond recognition- is his forte

So why should I use the paper shredder for sensitive documents, when I have him ?

He really excells at this when I play Jazz CD for him.

Plus you can leave the shreds in his cage as bedding and then people really won't want to touch them.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

I have an autistic grandson, the apple of my eye, who is also an accomplished shredder. He can turn a refrigerator carton into something resembling blown-in cellulose insulation in about 15 minutes.

One of my greyhounds is a paper shredder. If you leave any paper out, she tries to eat it. I guess that "my dog ate my homework" might occasionally be true.

Great idea--I'll put my cats to work on it right away...

BTW, I hope I'm not surprising you with the fact that African Grays live to be 50-70 years old. He'll be shredding for a long time, possibly even for your grandchildren...

No idea why but paper destroyer seems to be inherent in all breeds. My macaw can destroy a telephone book in under an hour.
