Another IT related question?

For those of us who works in 'IT' any of you currently use this open source BI solution called Pentaho at work? If so, do you have any good or bad things to say about it? Are your users happy? We're about to embark on it and just need to know what we're getting into. Appreciate any info.

We have a department of BI folks, only problem is they don't produce useful output. They makes lots of shiny things and colorful dashboards but the information is content free. Ask them what it means and how to use it and they run away crying that you aren't playing nice.
