    Remember Hand Slappin'???

When I was a kid we used to played two different hand slappin' games. One was where two would be facing each other. One would hold his palms together in front of the other guy. The other guy had his hands to the sides. Then the slapper could keep slappin' as long as he didn't miss. If he did, then the other guy gets his chance.

The second game is where one guy holds his palms out separately palms down, the other guy places his hands under the first guy's hands and has to bring his hand or hands out from under the first guy's hands and slap one or the other, or both. Same rules apply. If ya miss you go from slapper to slappee.

I remember it. I lost most of the time. I also remember ear flipping, wedgies, titty-twisters, noogies, butt pinching, and a few other sundry juvenile things we did to each other on the playground. Most of which I was the recipient of.

      How about mumbledy-peg? (see http://crookedlakereview.com/article...7rezelman.html)

I remember a version of this involving a wooden board and a pocketknife. Which reminds me that back in my day every kid had a pocketknife. Nowadays every kid has an ipod and a cellphone--progress?

That is funny because I dated a few guys like that in High School, but ssshhhh don't tell my parents that I went out with these guys or tell my daughter.

I was never very good at the hand slap game as we called it but I was good at slappin hands AWAY from me....
