    Free TV/Movies On PC

Ran across this link: http://www.hulu.com yesterday. It's free to sign up. Really cool if you want to watch a certain TV show or movie, past or present. I tried it out and got hung up watching an old episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

You can sift through a general topic and find a program you want and even specify which episode or title you want. Options also include going to full screen. There's an I Love Lucy I missed back when...maybe I'll watch it during lunch.

Hey, for all the kid folk here, now you can catch up on what you missed.

That's pretty cool - thanks for posting this. Just watched the first episode of Arrested Development - they never should have canceled that show.

I had a poke about to see where the profit margins were and it's advertising, as expected. There's a little more to it - it's only available to the US - have a look at this two-page article.

Sorry 'bout the viewing geography...not my fault. Actually, the few things I watched the advertising was very minimal. When I went to full screen, no ads at all. Anyway what's a few ads for gettin' it for free.

Kinda like your Beeb only being available to you (no Dr. Who straight from the can, only leftovers), and your issues with other browsers.........

As for Hulu, it was mentioned here a few weeks ago (maybe where you got your link from?). I am wondering how long till it gets updated.
          Back off to work..........
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I don't remember seeing it on the forum. Was reading my current issue (Sept 2008) of PC World, and read this article.

It's pretty choppy with a DSL connection. I thought it would be better. I'll chek at home with cable. Thanks for the link.
              Blessings,

I wasn't having a pop, Mike, just commenting on how they could afford to host it. It sounds good to me, but I can't view it - until I come over, that is!

Maybe, but it was the article author who made mention of it as though it was a big deal.

Maybe if you check out the link I posted for the article in PC World, and scroll down to the heading The Aggregators, there are several that provide free service. There may be one or more that provide service to the UK.

I watched a movie and there were a few, not too many commercials, and they were all well under 60 seconds - actually, I think they were under 30 and they count down the seconds remaing, which was nice. Good quality with cable.
