Saw this little gem on Craigslist here in Columbus today. All I can say is wow.

10" delta chop saw (missing gaurd) - $50

Note that not only is the lower blade guard missing, but so is the upper one. Talk about an accident waiting to happen.

Maybe he felt this "modification" gave him the flexibility to use whatever saw blade he had on hand - 7-1/4", 10", 12" . I sure hope that saw does not make it into the hands of a common-sense deprived DIYer.

I wouldn't be surprised if this guy pulled that saw outta somebody's trash pile and is now trying to turn it into cash (and too much cash, at that). I hope nobody is stupid enough to pop for that thing (but we all know somebody is stupid enough...).
