Firefox - Backing Up Data HowTo

I wanted to move my cookies files from one computer to another - being lazy I didn't want to train the new one. I found this article in the Firefox knowledge base on how to backup all your Firefox data. This link is for XP but there is one for Vista.

It is pretty neat. When I closed Firefox on my laptop I picked the option to save all my open tabs. I transferred the directory over, renamed to match the default on my desktop and when I reopened Firefox on my desktop it opened all the tabs just like they were on the laptop.

In a similar vein one of the sites I read regularly has a lot of firefox tips, tricks, addon info. It's worth checking out - http://lifehacker.com/

Great site. I just downloaded Firefly and it looks like it will be very useful. I do a lot of file management at work and now I don't have to switch apps to do it.
