    Grandpa-AGAIN!

The title says it all. Grand child #9 arrived sometime after 4 this morning. Cole Patrick Stenson weighed in at 9lbs, 5oz and was 21" long. Mom and baby are doing fine. This was pretty quick. Jen called us at about 2 AM to tell us she heading for the hospital and Brian called around 4:30 to tell us he was here!!!!

Belinda and I are flying to Chicago this afternoon to meet the little guy and to take care of Shanna and Kelly for a week so mom can rest. Brian's company is giving him a week off as well so there should be plenty of help and no excuse for Jen not to take it easy.

Just about the time I was getting used to the idea of 9 grandbabies, I learned that number 10 will arrive later this year. More projects in the shop!!!!!

Congrats, Larry. I sometimes think you can enjoy the grandkids more than you did your own.

I just found out it was even quicker than I thought. Cole was born at 3:33! My MIL talked to Jen while I was at the doctor and all is well. We should be able to bring them home tomorrow!

The shop projects are MY projects and are for things like rocking horses, baby beds, cradles, jeeps. APPEARENTLY, my boys and daughter, don't have time for hobbies!

veeery cool. And, yes, the grandkids are more fun but it's because you don't have to worry about the day to day trouble of raising them right! That pressure is off, for the most part, and you can focus on having fun that you didn't have time for with your own kids because you were making a living. I don't have to say it but I will; Enjoy, Larry!!
                  Blessings,
                  Chiz

The reason Grand Kids and Grand Parents get along so well is they have a common enemy

                    Not really an enemy but

Enjoy all of them, and best of luck!

Yeah, our second was quick like that -- almost too quick if you ask me.

Thanks for all the well wishes from the entire family.

We are in Chicago now and enjoying being with Cole, kelly, Shanna and of course, mommy and daddy. I have been able to pry Cole out of Shanna's arms a couple of times. She is VERY protective of her little brother!

Jen & Cole were able to come yesterday and they are doing very well. Jen is definetly her mother's daughter; she is all ready cleaning house! Belinda finally took the vaccuum away from her. Brian's company gave him the week off so Cole, Kelly and Shanna are being taken care of very well (there's a LITTLE spoiling going on too).

You are fore warned, when I get home, there will pictures!
