    The Sub-1000 Club :)

It is with mixed emotion that I will be leaving this fine group posters very soon as my posting odometer is about to turn a fourth digit. I hope to see all of you on the other side of the line!

This forum rocks. Where else can you talk about table saws, kids and particle physics all in one place!?

Don't freak out dude. If you insist I think I can set your post count so that it never changes from 999!

Alex, don't think of it as an end, but a new beginning.

Well, now you've ruined it - since you just made post 1001 you have another 999 posts to make before you are special again! Of course, you just helped me edge closer to 1000...

Apparently not! I'm back at 999 now, so it looks like I may end up being "almost special" for quite a while to come!

Hey, Black wallnut -- you think you can stop my age from incrementing every year, too? (And no, I'm not asking you to kill me.) :P

                    Edit: W00t - I'm special again! Gosh it's like a dream!

Congrats, Alex. I think. I'll have to check back later to make sure.

OK I am impressed since as a newbe I am only half way to 100!

But this begs the real question; where does 1000 post stand in the heirarchy of posters?

And by the way when do I get to quit being a newbe?

Click on members list and then on posts and you will see who are the big posters - the rest of us weaklings fall further behind every day...and EVRYONE pales in comparison to Loring!

You quit being a newbie at 100 posts - unless you upset a mod and you apparently could find yourself back at 99 indefinitely!

Oh, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to add one more post to my count!

Since I could not con anyone into doing the research

1000 posts is 81st on the list.

And now I have one more
