My experience with printers - for home use never buy an inkjet. Pay more for a good b/w laser instead. Color printing at home on inkjet might be good enough for kids homework at most. For my home office several years ago I bought a discontinued (but new) network-grade IBM laser with duplex. Lasted for many years. Still works but lost ability to go to sleep after some power surge, so now it sits turned off in reserve. Current workhorse - Brother Laser all-in-one with duplex. If you need color print - outsource it to CVS (for photo) or to Kinko's for business.
