    No, this is not a joke. Last night before the Sox/Indians game, Nick Swisher made sure this boy and his family from Kentucky made it to the game. The boy lost a leg to cancer when he was 1 year old. He is now playing baseball!! Nick has a charity for kids (Swish's Wishes), and when he heard about this one, he hung his picture in his locker. What an inspiration! I won't tell you everything that happened, but here are a couple of links:

        One reason I've lost all interest in professional sports is that most of the players and all of the management think only about themselves. Fans shell out a lot of money to see these guys yet they behave like children (though I suppose they really are just playing a game). I'd be much more inclined to tune back in if players ditched the drugs and acted like real men the way Swisher obviously is.
