    Sunday my son was born...

Alex came Sunday evening... 8lb 3oz, 20.25inches, with a full head of hair and cooing like mad.

My wife started noticing contractions around 2:30pm, we set around till about 3:45 before we decided it wasn't going to pass and went for a labor check, we weren't there ten minutes before they had a crew following to the birthing ward in case she delivered in the hallway. The second is so much easier (well, for me at least, she looked a bit uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as 4 years ago).

My wife was ready to go home the next morning but we didn't get out until about 6pm yesterday, simply because they prefer the baby stay for 24hrs.

Congratulations! How excited was the 4 year old?

I hope Nikki and my second is that easy. The first one involved ~30 hours of mooing, moaning, and crying (the delivery not the conception)

              Thanks guys,

Big Sis (4 years) is coming out of her skin, she's stayed the last two nights with nana and papa. So she's had a couple of days where all the attention was focused on her.

Unfortunately she thinks there's a lot more for her to help with than she is can do right now. (ie She's asked for keys to the car and a phone and told us to leave a message and she'll call us when her and brother are done shopping). So were gonna have to find a balance.

OK. I already don't like the baby. He has more hair than I do ....
