    TV to Movies

As a companion to Jeff's thread on Get Samrt and good/bad movie remakes of TV shows, I figured I would ask which TV shows that haven't been made into movies should be?

With the current trend in Hollywood, I'm sure most are already in some stage of production.

I would love to see Hogan's Heroes. Clooney as Hogan, Owen Wilson as Carter, Hugh Laurie as Newkirk. I don't know about Schultz and Klink, though...

Why not a movie version of "It Takes a Thief?"

How about Frank Caliendo for Schultz and Jeffrey Tambor for Klink?

I don't want to see this movie made, though. Current movies aren't campy
like Hogan's Heroes needs to be. I thought the movie Stalag 17 is a close
relative and I loved that movie.

I'm not sure current movies could be campy - somebody might complain. For instance if they ever remake The Lone Ranger it would never be campy.
