Anybody want some NBA finals tickets?

Wouldn't even have noticed it except for the fact it was in the TOOLS SECTION . I have a feeling they put it there because in the ticket section it says not to sell tickets for more than face value. Although I guess for finals tickets these might actually be face value. I'm a big lakers fan and am confident they'll tie the series tonight but wouldn't even dream of paying for tickets for that price.

Wouldn't walk accross the street for ticket to the finals. I am Kings fan and after the last few days we are not to thrilled with the NBA. We have believed since the 2002 Western Confrence Finals that is was Kobe, Shaq and 3 Refs that won the series. The Celtics might have a chance now to finish it in under 7 games. Just my opinion. Not a big baketball fan any way when the Kings season is done so am I. 5ft 8in 66year old white guy can't relate to some of these guys playing now a days.

But I do believe it was Kings fans who were chanting "MVP" when Kobe was shooting free throws during a Sacramento home game. I nearly fell off my seat when I heard that.

They were Laker fans who happen to live in Northern Ca and ones who came for the game. I was at both home games. Don't know about So Cal Laker fans but the ones up here are a pain. I went college in So Cal in the Early 60 when the Celtics beat the Lakers for the Championship almost every year it was a pain then as much as it is now with the Lakers and Kings. David Stern has got a mess on his hands. I think the Refs have to be more consistent in their calls. Treat Rookies the same as the stars. It has been proven that some Refs have it in for certain players. Kings have to improve so they go back to having sell outs then there will be less Laker fans at the games. This year was bad as far as attendance goes and tickets were easy to come by even for Laker games. One game I think a third of the fans were wearing Laker jerseys and there were still vacant seats. Should be an interesting game tonight, will probably be out in the shop making pens and listen to it on the radio, can't stant the Network announcers, like Check Hearn. is Vin Scully still doing Dodger games, used to bring the radio to game to listen to him and Jerry.

Not to cause a war or anything, but to bring perspective...the ref making the accusations is a desperate criminal about to be sentenced.

And why is it that people conveniently forget the Lakers were robbed in game 5? Or that the Kings choked badly in game 7? Next thing we'll hear is that Stern was hiding behind the grassy knoll!

I live in Sacramento and I am so tired of hearing the whining - let it go already. Sometimes this city has such an inferiority complex.

I just felt that way oringinaly from that game. The xref is just trying to make it easier on him self. But sometimes you gotta wonder. Was Stern in Dallas?, just kidding. From what I have heard it is not just Sacramento, it seem to be nation wide. One theory I heard last night on one of the sport talk shows was That game in 2002 is the reason Stern is so busy trying to help the Kings get a new Arena. CAl EXPO is a Joke, they should put it over is West Sac by the River Cats ball park or leave it at ARCO and build the new arena next door with Malof money. By the way did the Celtics know there was a game tonight? if so where are they? Just checked the score they still haven't shown up. Sdtormdog97 becareful or I will send Eric Musselman over with my cowbell. Who you voting for mayor the current Mayor or the former NBA Star? Oops that politics, don't answer. 20 sec left just came in from outside. The Celtics did show up amazing

              Tom,

I live in the "Uncity" (you have to be from the Sacramento area to understand that!), so we don't have to worry about getting political as I can't vote in the city!

Agree about the arena - it should go next to Arco with Maloof money. Enough with the public money for arenas!

Who is this Musselman guy? I thought that was a dream? Nightmare?

I have lived in Sacramento all my life but have never heard that term. I have an Idea where it is though. Probably in the South Eastern area along 47th ave. We may live closer than I thought. There are a number of unincorportated pockets of County land with in the City Limits. I live inside the city yet pay Elk Grove school taxes. If we didn't have the Kings I probably wouldn't even be interested in the NBA. I have known Gary Gerould, radio voice of the Kings, for over 30 years. We go to a lot of River Cat games though, NBA is getting to expensive, BIL and I have cut back on our ticket plan for the 089/09 season so we wil each have 10 games instead of 20. I think the NBA is going have to work on the perceived preference the Refs give to certain players and teams. Musselman was a bad deal/nightmare.

                  Tom,

The Uncity is anywhere in the county that is not part of a city - I think it was coined by Dan Walters in the Bee, but I am not sure of that. For the most part I think I like that I don't belong to a city - just think, no mayor!

I live just north of Elk Grove in a semi-rural area in eastern Sacramento County - Vineyard Area.

Elk Grove tried, and still is trying I believe, to annex us - they are trying to cherry pick and want to go north only around a few neighborhoods, ours included. I think of it as property tax gerrymandering. From what I read of the politics in Elk Grove I am happy to stay where I am.
