Free-range steaks from my folks' farm. Shrimp. Grilled veggies fresh from my mom's garden grilled with my super-secret grillin' recipe. Straw/blueberry shortcake.

Sounds good Davey, but here's what I'm dealin' with. Filet mignon (2" thick) from the grocery store, and homemade bernaise sauce (if you care to), cooked on charcoal grill. Yukon Gold potato from the grocery store wrapped in foil and on the grill. Mixed steamed green veggies from the grocery store with hollandaise sauce. And for dessert either homemade cheesecake or pecan pie.

Sorry 'bout the grocery store...we aren't fortunate enough to home grow.

There's a BIG rack of baby back ribs in the freezer that's gonna feel the heat of Mesquite coals tomorrow! Add some Roastin' Ears and cantelope....

Man my mouth is watering now, THANKS A LOT PAPPY..... That is one of my favorites things is ribs and some good cantelope...its that time of year where I am wanting to buy some fresh fruit and make a large salad with all of them in one. And to top it all off we don't have a good grill to make ribs with out burning them big time or not being able to cook them long enough to get some good flavor.

Plus we are out of propane for the grill.

Ribs and canteloupe in a salad together? Not sure how good that would taste.

I didn't mean together, just the fruit. I was trying to type and watch the race and then talk with the kids, so I screwed up what I wanted to say.

I haven't changed a tank or run out of gas in 5 years - I piped the grill to the natural gas.
