    RIP, Bo.

    I remember cruising with my buddies on hot summer evenings, looking for girls and listening to you, Chuck, Bill, Elvis, Buddy, and oh so many others.

          I guess it is a sign that I am getting old, many of my rock heroes are gone. Elvis, Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, Richie Valens, Bill Haley, half of the Beatles, and now Bo Diddley. It is nice to have some cds and lps to listen to. It takes me back to cruisin' and riding around with nothing to do but listen to the radio and rock out.

              I was just watching some of his stuff on youtube a few days ago. Bo Diddley really had a beat to his music. I could listen to him for quite a while without getting tired of it. He was one of a kind.

                              It can't be just a sign of age, because 3/4 of the Ramones are gone (assuming the various drummers are collectively 1/4)... and I know I'm not old
