      You are all correct.I read once that Russians have a old saying "Trust but verify".I Told him to be sure to get the manufactures installation instructions before he started. I thought of this saying as I was telling him this.
      Oh well, you can only do so much.
      I think therefore I .....awwww where is that remote.

        I go by 'trust but verify' at work all the time. I trust what my customers tell me but I check system logs anyway. The systems all know what is going on much better than the admins do.

          I have found that people who believe that they are gifted with a more than mortal reasoning ability are the first one who won't read a manual. Then go on to screw up whatever it is they are trying to do. Only to wonder why.
