Just When You Think You're Coordinated

Try this when you have a chance.

Now that character can juggle and do a

back flip. Gotta give him credit that's for sure. I try to juggle only one ball and I end up breaking a glass or plate or window and falling down breaking a nose trying to catch the one ball. Yeah, he's got some talent.

I can juggle 3. And on a good day I can juggle 3 hula hoops. No backflips though.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

Impressive, to be sure, but think of how much better it would have been if he had put the time he obviously has spent learning that skill to better use. This may be a kid who will go out into the workforce functionally illiterate, and complain that the system failed him.

Boy do I ever disagree here. "Those" people are the ones that show no initiative at all. Someone like this that can "master" something...anything shows aptitude that has been followed up on. In other words, he was motivated and took that motivation to a level of excellence. I'd expect him to do the same for anything he set his mind to.

like counting cards, memorizing phone books, or I don't know starring in a Tom Cruz movie?

That is pretty awesome. He has to be pretty intelligent to be able to visualize the paths of the balls, and the timing necessary to execute the back flip, and where to put his hands so that he can resume his juggling.

I bet he is a very good driver...
